About the Rav
Rav Shlomo Yedidya Zafrani shlit”a leads Irgun Bnei Torah Sefardi, an international initiative uniting and strengthening Sefardi kehillot worldwide.
He currently oversees more than 80 communities in Eretz Yisrael and regularly visits and mentors kehillos across North, Central, and South America.
Rav Zafrani also serves as Rosh Av Beis Din in numerous Batei Din in Israel and France, and is among the senior gedolim training poskim at Kollel Toras Chaim.
We are privileged to help the Rav launch Keter Torah — a new kollel and training program dedicated to cultivating qualified Sefardi poskim to serve the global community.
The Keter Torah Vision
Founded by Rav Zafrani’s father, Rav Yitzchak Zafrani zt”l, Keter Torah began over sixty years ago with a mission to elevate Torah learning and support talmidei chachamim.
Today, under Rav Shlomo Yedidya Zafrani’s leadership, this vision continues through the Keter Torah Kollel — a vibrant center of Torah learning, halachic excellence, and spiritual growth.
Your support will help:

Letter from Rav Shlomo Yedidya Zafrani shlit”a
ENGLISH TRANSLATION
27 Tishrei, 5786
To the esteemed Rabbis of the communities and the generous supporters of Hashem’s nation — may you live and be blessed.
About sixty years ago, my revered father, Rabbi Yitzchak Zafrani zt”l, established the Keter Torah Organization with the goal of elevating Torah learning and providing support to Torah scholars. Through this holy work, he sanctified Hashem’s Name, and many great talmidei chachamim benefited from this fund.
Over thirty years ago, with Hashem’s help, we founded a Kollel for advanced study in Choshen Mishpat, dedicated to producing outstanding Torah scholars and dayanim. Within our community, we have ongoing programs even during bein hazmanim, and we have merited to publish many Torah works across all four sections of the Shulchan Aruch.
Now, in the holy city of Jerusalem, we have opened a new branch of the Keter Torah Kollel for young avreichim under the leadership of my sons, Rabbi Yitzchak shlit”a and Rabbi Avraham Yeshayahu shlit”a. Praise be to Hashem, the atmosphere of holiness and diligence in Torah learning there is exceptionally strong.
We are preparing to publish additional sefarim on halacha, mussar, and yiras Shamayim, yet the needs are many and the resources limited.
Therefore, I am sending my dear and esteemed friend, Rabbi Daniel Travis shlit”a, as my representative in this mission — to help strengthen and expand the Keter Torah initiative and increase the sound of Torah here in Eretz HaKodesh. He is a man of integrity and devotion, and all contributions made through him will be directed faithfully to this holy work.
All donations to the Keter Torah Organization are fully managed and certified with proper financial oversight.
